Such sad news. I will always remember him as the epitome of a really 'decent chap' and someone with whom I shared a lot of laughs around rugby and friends at home and abroad. My condolences go to Belinda and his family.

I knew Charlie through work and I can’t believe that he isn’t here anymore. Such a professional, he was always ready with positive and wise contribution to everything he was involved in, and always with a huge smile on his face. He provided constant and continuous value to every single area of our work lives. We all had so much more to learn from him, so many more joke to hear from him; the world really is a much darker place without him in it. I feel privileged to have known him. Ash

We are so grateful for having been blessed with the opportunity of meeting and knowing Charlie. Quite simply, he was a lovely man, such fun, and a great source of inspiration for our lads. Charlie’s legacy will live on through the memories of the people who were fortunate enough to have known him. Charlie truly was “a man for others.” May God Bless Belinda, Sadie, Louis and Josh, and may God Bless Charlie. Pete, Maria, Patrick and Ciarán.
